Services & Supplier Manager

£55,000 - £60,000 plus 10% bonus

Rugby – Hybrid working. You need to live within 1.5 hours of this location.

Please note: this role can be remote with travel or hybrid with use of our client’s offices.

The Supplier Management role actively manages key supplier’s which account for more than 65% of our client’s total supplier spend (circa £75M).
This role is part of a UK Software and Services procurement and supplier management function.

The role currently has no direct reports and is responsible for key stakeholder relationships:

• Senior Business leadership team.
• Operational leads responsible for Service Delivery
• Customer facing Service Managers
• Finance and budget holders
• Legal and commercial teams
• Key metrics are associated with maintaining and improving supplier SLA’s/KPIs for service quality and effectiveness.
• Working with Suppliers to deliver savings and improved services (SLA/KPI’s).

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Academic and Technical Qualifications: 

• Educated to Degree standard or equivalent (desirable).
• MCIPS (desirable).
• ITIL (desirable).
• Working knowledge of PC packages e.g. Outlook/Google.

Other technical expertise, experience and knowledge:

• Vendor management experience in Telecommunications/IT services industry.
• Complex Outsourced Services.
• Strong commercial and business awareness.
• Strong Customer focus.
• Good Communication skills.
• Good knowledge of contracts.
• Good understanding of procurement specifically IT Procurement.
• Knowledge of contract law.
