UK Senior Account Manager - (Food/Catering Industry)

Reporting to Key Account Manager, the broad outline of the role will be to manage and maintain the key accounts in the UK.

The role will be both internally and externally focused.  Internally, the person will be required to administer the day-to-day routine of processing client contracts and providing vital information to the various departments (production, purchasing, engineering, finance etc). 

Externally, the role will require extensive travel to the client in order to maintain current business and enhance sales opportunities.

Must have experience within the Food or Catering Sectors

• Manage various UK Accounts
  
• Ability to build and maintain relationships and understand client needs
• Strong commercial orientation with a focus on delivering objectives, solutions and targets
• Must have experience with managing client accounts
• Analytic and able to solve problems effectively
• Possess commercial awareness, personal motivation and strong communication skills
• The role will require extensive travel around the UK to visit customers onsite
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
• Good computer skills in Outlook, Word and Excel
• Use of existing business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
• Full Clean Driver Licence essential 
• 50:50 onsite working and externally based

Experience required:

• Educated to degree level
• Previous experience within Customer Success/Account Management/Technical or Product Sales.
• Experience within a technical or engineering field
• Account Management experience within Commercial Catering Equipment or within a Catering Environment.
• Ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects
• Project and program management experience
• Strong MS Office skills
