Head of Scaffolding

Brentwood

£70,000 - £75,000 plus Bonus package related to commercial targets

Duties

·       Manage/Lead scaffolding sales team to achieve revenue targets, and other performance measures such as quotation levels, customer visits etc. and other relevant KPI’s.

·       Develop and implement a strategic business plan to substantially grow market share withing scaffolding sector.

·       Support Building and Infrastructure formwork teams to grow revenue in all scaffolding applications

·       Manage pipeline for target projects

  • Maintenance and development of relationships with major customers while growing overall customer base.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director to implement and deliver the sales strategy within all sectors.

  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations and customer service directors to ensure all functions of the company are aligned towards the scaffolding sales goals.

  • Work closely with the Sales Managers to deliver growth in the scaffolding sector.

  • Operate within the company financial guidelines

  • Sales Team development and professionalism
  • Provide strong leadership, training and coaching for all direct and indirect reports involved in the scaffolding sector.

  • Work closely with the technical team and other functions to ensure the most cost effective and profitable solutions are given to the customer.

  • Customer Services to ensure smooth Project Delivery inc. Project Specialists, Project Managers & Project Delivery Engineers.

  • Logistics team in relation to material planning and development of project pipelines.


Experience

  • Scaffolding Industry marketing and sales
  • Proven knowledge of all scaffolding, access and shoring systems used within the sector
  • PC literate with good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office standard programmes
  • Commercial experience within the scaffolding sector
  • Experience in account management of key accounts
  • Coaching/Leadership experience of sales engineers/sales managers
  • Strong commercial understanding

Driving License
