International Management Accountant
Dewsbury
£55,000 - £60,000 plus annual bonus
Full-time hours are: 8.30am – 5.30pm Mon – Fri with 1 hour lunch.
Hybrid working – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in the office, Monday and Tuesday wfh.
This is a newly created role due to expansion and further development of the business. It is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team as an experienced International Management Accountant.
Duties:
Support the Head of Finance in developing the management accounting systems to provide up-to date, timely and relevant information to managers for proper control of the business for all overseas entities.
Act as a business partner to functional teams in developing relevant reporting to support business activities, aid understanding of profit and loss accountability and deliver budgeted results.
Assist in maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger by ensuring that balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly for most accounts.
Undertake a key role in the final accounts process, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the information provided.
Balance Sheet Stock analysis of Hire fleet and Sales stock to provide forecasting of Stock requirements.
Preparation of year-end financial accounts in line with statutory requirements.
Collaborating with managers across the business for reporting of business activities and for preparation of budgets in line with deadlines.
Consulting with external auditors for the completion of year-end financial accounts
Working with external tax and legal advisors ensuring fully compliant with all taxes and reporting required whilst ensuring we operate in the most tax efficient way wherever possible.
Preparation of annual budgets in line with Group deadlines.
Production of monthly management accounts in line with company deadlines.
Providing timely, accurate and relevant monthly management accounts.
Consulting with authorities where required for duty, tax, and legal advice.
Ensuring all submissions to Group adhere to deadlines.
Accounting administration, including Monthly sales commission and rebate calculations and payments.
Completion of all monthly, quarterly, and annual returns as required.
Completion of Government statistics statutory returns.
Play key part in maintaining and improving company forecasts.
Any project work related to the role.
Required:
ACCA or similar or qualified by experience
Minimum 3 years of experience working within an International Accounting role – dealing with different tax and VAT rates, procedures and currencies.
Advanced Excel – Lookups, macros, pivots etc.
Experience of exporting goods and the relevant legislation.
Power BI experience – desirable but not essential.
