Stores Controller

£29,000 - £31,000 per annum

Our client is seeking an experience Stores Controller with Stock Management/Stock Control and Manual handling skills.  A varied busy role for our forward-thinking client.

Responsible for manning the stores counter and receiving and issuing stock.

Responsible for ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded on the computer system.

Parcelling goods for dispatch and be responsible for organising courier collections from the stores.

Ensuring stock is booked out and issuing items to be repaired.

Tracking of stock movements and investigation of stock discrepancies.

Inspecting lifting equipment for sites.

Assisting and taking part in regular stock takes.

Ensuring stock levels are replenished and meet the needs of the business.

Assisting Purchasing & Logistics Team with site stock requisitions.

Manual handling of stock (loading and unloading, stocking shelves/bins).

Liaising with Plant and Sites

Good Customer Services

Excellent communication skills

Computer Literate – Good working knowledge of MS Office

Skills required:

IT Literate in Word & Excel

Ability to work in a fast-paced team

Full UK Licence

FLT Licence

Previous experience within Stores/Stock Control

Manual Handling skills

Good numeracy and strong attention to detail

Hours of work – 8 am – 6 pm or 7 am – 5 pm

Location – Banbury, Oxon

Salary £29,000 - £31,000 per annum
